The European Islands Facility NESOI project supports the energy transition process of the European islands, facilitating the decentralization of energy systems and contributing to the policies of the European Union in achieving the 2030 climate objectives. To do this, the project has the possibility of providing technical support and financial to energy transition projects on the Italian islands and beyond
In the first months of the project, the NESOI Consortium launched a mapping action on the European islands, to better understand the energy challenges of the islands, the maturity of their projects and, above all, their needs in order to develop the technical assistance offered by NESOI.
During our webinar, the Italian partners of the NESOI project, SINLOC - Local Initiatives System (coordinator), RINA Consulting and R2M Solution, starting from the analysis of the results emerged from the mapping, will provide useful information on the technical and financial support mechanism offered by NESOI and will explain the eligibility criteria to be able to participate in the first call for applications which will be released in early October 2020
