During the last Clean Energy Forum for EU Islands in Saaremaa (Estonia), the Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson launched the challenge30 by 30″: 30 islands will selected per rivres support to achieve 100% renewable energy sources (RES) by 2030.
The “30 for 30” challenge represents a significant step forward in EU engagement a promote renewable energy in small islands. Focusing on 30 selected islands, the initiative aims to provide tailored support and resources for these communities and ad accelerate theby the way clean energy transition. The 30 for 30 initiative recognizes that achieving 100% renewable energy on islands requires a holistic approach, what are you doing innovative technologies, favorable economic conditions, community involvement e environmental Protection.
